Where's the freedom?
Alan Johnson MP is to ask MPs to consider the introduction of fluoride into the drinking water in parts of England.
We don’t have fluoridated water here in NI. Yet.
The infrastructure is in place but no action plan has been implemented as yet.
I will be installing a reverse osmosis filter on my drinking water supply if and when this ever happens here.
I haven’t used fluoride toothpaste in nearly ten years and I have only had to have a couple of old fillings replaced in that time.
Naturally occurring fluoride is unavoidable in some areas. The fluoride they propose to use in the water supply is an industrial byproduct that is currently labelled as a toxic waste. As soon it gets the go ahead to be introduced to the water supply, hey presto no costly waste charges, in fact they can charge for it!
Don’t take my word for it, go check it out for yourselves.
Oh yeah, and another thing… there is now mandatory fingerprinting for all domestic flights emanating from Heathrow. Any future travel I may undertake will not be to Heathrow.
I have nothing to hide other than my right to privacy.
Giving up any civil liberties in exchange for the illusion of security is utter madness.

I'm not 100% on the fingerprinting thing; was it not just BA at Terminal 5 who were bringing in the fingerprint checks? If that's it, we'd be grant, since BA pulled out of here years ago.
Still, they're obviously a bunch of bastards for only mentioning the new policy now, instead of during the massive PR push over T5 in the last few years.
BA domestic and international from T5 but if you fly in international and want to fly home via T1 you have to be fingerprinted/iris scanned.
I'll vote with my money and avoid the poxy place then. Never did like it.
The problem with voting with your money is that it's mighty difficult to get into London without using BAA, and Gatwick has a not-too-comforting picture capture scheme in place already. Short of flying squeezee-jet into Luton, you're stuck.
Given that Stansted only has one waiting area as well, I'm confused by how they're not tied up with something like this yet. Only a matter of time, I suppose.
