Market/Mapket

I love food markets, wherever I go.
I love looking at all the fresh food and watching people interact with the vendors.

Here are a couple of my favourite food markets.

The Agora in Hania, Crete and the English market in Cork, Ireland.

I agree with you, I love looking round food markets too. I think the best one I've ever seen was the central market in Florence. It was huge and they had absolutely everything you could possibly want, including about a zillion types of cheese!

you don't know what you're missing out on by not visiting paleohora - you can catch up with it in cork, i suppose!

I just noticed your comment about our little toad. Thanks for visiting the blog.
I've read a few of your posts and had a laugh. That Cafe Paradiso sounds amazing. There's a French restaurant near our home in Milwaukee that makes us feel the same way.
Also, I love food markets too. I'm off to our liaki this morning. I love taking pics of all of the produce and sometimes, seafood.
You've got a great blog!

sitting down at an eaterie in greece, especially a drinkerie (one that doesn't serve much food), is like renting a table and two chairs for two-three hours: this is probably why a meagre beer costs so much
